Food, Television, Movies, Internet...... FAST!!!

I'd like to strongly encourage all of us here at Revelife.com who use ShoutLife.com (or/and believe in the ministry of ShoutLife.com) to fast and pray for ShoutLife.com.

For the next full seven days and nights, let's do this. What is the focus? ShoutLife.com, every single staff member, volunteers, family members, users, etc. Basically anything and anyone directly or indirectly related to/that is involved with ShoutLife.com.

Please don't misunderstand what fasting means. Yes, the typical and oldest form of fasting is from food and certain types of beverages. There's even different Biblical fasts (Daniel fast being one of them). In general, I'd like to encourage all of us to fast from... something... at least one thing or more. If you're unable to fast from food, fast from the usual amount of food you eat. If you usually drink sodas or any other beverage out there that you really really enjoy drinking, fast from that particular beverage. If you're on the internet for at least one hour every day, cut back on that. If you watch certain television shows during the week, don't watch them during these next 7 days.

WHATEVER you sense the Lord leading you to do.. whatever amount of time you would normally spend on that/those things, spend that time with more worshiping the Lord (or more quiet time with Him, or however you encounter your personal one-on-one time with the Lord). ALSO.. whatever dollar amount you would normally spend on whatever it is you would normally do, take that same dollar amount and give it to your church (as an addition to your usual tithe) to go towards whatever part of your church's ministry you see fit. If you don't have a home church, well then, come up with a body-of-Christ edifying and creative idea for that dollar amount. =)

I hope and pray that all of us will, in some fashion, agree to fast and pray for the next full seven days and nights for ShoutLife.com, every single staff member, volunteers, family members, users, etc. Basically anything and anyone directly or indirectly related to/that is involved with ShoutLife.com.

Let's ALSO not forget to take notes of what comes to mind during this time of fasting and praying. Keep some sort of writing utensil and paper with you (or your Palm Pilot)... whatever it is that is portable enough so you can whip it out and inscribe upon it wherever you may be, okay?

Seriously... do males and females understand anymore these days that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ really does NOT care if we have become desensitized to certain flesh-revealing attire, television shows, movies, books, websites, etc?? It's STILL a stumbling block, folks and does NOT make junk wardrobe or junk pics okay!! AUGH! I am speaking to females AND males!!

Ladies, get a clue. Gentlemen, on behalf of females of ALL ages, races, shapes and sizes and background... I apologize. I apologize for my fellow sisters' (whether they are Believers or not-yet-Believers) behaviours, ignorance and stupidity.

Furthermore, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with your age, what you have seen or experienced in your lifetime. The Holy Spirit should be given FULL FREEDOM to discern inside of you what is appropriate and what is not. It is NOT rocket science! NO I am not sayin let's all walk around completely covered head-to-toe at ALL times looking like nincompoops!

Just.. augh.. just PLEASE choose to get a clue.. both guys AND girls.

I'm bawling my eyes out as I try to type this and get it out of my system before heading to bed.

There is a silent rapture happening within me-- I can't even attempt to hold on to any sort of comfort zones.
Everything is being stripped away from me that was once "normal" -- I feel like Eve & Adam realizing they were bare for the first time (so to speak).

There is great and wonderful comfort in knowing that with the guidance of two sets of spirital parents/mentors (as well as other Believers who agreed to fast and pray with me for a certain amount of time for me/with me).....that I know that I know that I KNOW I need to only continue doing what I've been doing.

Paul and Jesus on the waters. Paul stepping out of the boat. This is different. God is eye to eye with me-- no distance. He isn't wanting anyone or anything that has no right to be in my life to be in it...period... same with circumstances. He is wanting me to stay focused on the whites of his eyes. I can't even attempt to look down where I'm going. Not to my left, not to my right, not up, not down.... He is moving backwards and guiding me forwards as I follow in His steps. He is desiring and requring me to focus solely on Him through any and all circumstances.

No. You don't understand (reader). This has been the most intense and intimate time with Christ I have ever had in my entire life. I didn't think it was possible to sense God's presence in my life this much. BUT you know what?? WE ARE AS CLOSE TO GOD AS WE CHOOSE TO BE. Meditate on that for a while-- chew on it.

This is such an unusual time in my life. I'm truly thankful that I'm going through this right now instead of after I'm married and have the added responsibilities of being a wife, mother and other things.

Boy-oh-boy do I have a buttload of testimonies to share with the world. Watch out. Here I come.

Last night, I was told the truth. I tried to get off the telephone upon this new realization that what I knew was not the truth. I was not being respected. I was in honest-to-God shock. I tried to speak calmly again. She did not listen. I yelled and stated I did NOT want to hang up on her.... SHE ended up hanging up on ME.

Wow.

I HATE being lied to. I HATE being used. I also HATE having to realize the cold hard facts that it's time for me to let go of this particular person as a friend. She lied to me and she used me. FOR THREE YEARS. She spoke lies about me behind my back to people who are practically FAMILY to me.. so of COURSE they're gonna come to me and say, "Umm...there's something you should know..."

Not only that, but she even took interest in my brother, reeled him in, flirted and flirted, made him believe that she was wanting a possible relationship with him, and THEN she had the nerve to drop him like a bad habit AND later on claimed that she didn't like him AND tried to blame ME (!?!?!??!) for the whole thing!!! Thank GOD she never laid a HAND on him! Thank GOD my brother had common sense to leave her ALONE!

Now, her new situation with a new boyfriend that she hasn't had for very long (a couple of weeks after being dumped by her previous boyfriend to whom she decided to lose her virginity to) is screwed up. A condom and other birth control methods are not gonna stop God's heart from breaking!! Nor is the excuse, "I'm horny" or "It's difficult to refrain." Like God's gonna go, "Well okay sweetheart. You two go on right ahead."

I did NOT need this. NOT now. NOT at a time like this in my life where SO MANY THINGS are up in the air. Oh well. Better now than later, I suppose (finding out I mean).

Jesus Christ. There are many reasons. The one that comes to mind at the moment, for whatever random reason in my brain, is that noone else has ever divided up time. B.C. (before Christ) and A.D. (after death). Others may try to take Him out of the equation of the timeline, but He is still there, people! Give up already!
